This tutorial was written for PSP9. If you are using PSP8, some of the paths to the various tools and effects may be different. All the effects are there, you might just have to hunt to find them. I have included lots of instructions and screen shots with the hope that anyone can do this tutorial. I have most of my favorite effects on a toolbar but I have included the path to each effect so it will be easy to find them if you are new to PSP. If you are more advanced, just skip along at your own pace. I hope you enjoy doing this tutorial.

Here's a short explanation about the Aetherize filter and how to use it. Flaming Pear has lots of cool presets for this filter.

Button 2 button 2
is to Save a Setting, when you create an effect you want to save.

Button 3 undo button
is the Undo button, returning your image to the previous settings.

Button 4 dice
is "roll the dice", a randomizer of presets. Click away until you find something you like.

Button 5 glue button
is Glue, glue is similar to blend modes in PSP.

There are buttons for zooming in and out, too. zoom buttons
You can also grab your image with your mouse and move it around in the preview window.
The sliders are pretty self explanatory, move those to fine tune the blur, hues, colorize, etc.
